Due to my family loyalities and also being a proud Missourian, this will be a win/win situation-
We will root for the Tigers AND the Cards and we won't really care who wins!
This final game was a true nail biter. And also witness to the most awesomest catch EVER...too bad it didn't do the Mets any good. Pppffffffffft!!
OK...done gloating and happy dancing, I gotta get to bed.

I thought our best shot at the World Series title was 2 years ago, but this year's team -- which, IMHO, has less raw talent -- plays bettet as a team, and plays better in the clutch situations.
Cards in 6 games.

Nope. More south of there, straight down 5, almost to the stateline. But I've been up around there lots 'o' times. Me & hubby used to go to Bagnell Dam every fall for the annual FORR biker rally. (yeah...I was THAT kinda girl...once.)
Is that your neck of the woods? When I think of Camdenton, the 1st thing that comes to mind is that big old barn lookin' tourist shop right at the intersection of 5 and whatever it is. Man, that thing's been there like forever!

I don't get into spectator sports much, but I do prefer baseball to football, it's not quite so violent! I guess I'm a weird Texan; or perhaps just plain wierd! :lol:
I'd rather watch a ballgame in person, but football is best watched on tv, imo.
I haven't been to a real live game in years, tho. Geez, who can afford to nowadays?
Nope, you ain't weird, Gayle-just a girl. ; ) We don't have too much of the raging sport gene that our male folk do.
Frankly, I get a bigger kick watching guys watch a tight game and their reactions than the game itself!
