My Invitation Got Lost in the Mail...
Just a few hours ago the tape was posted on some Islamic sites, here's some choice parts:

"Instead of killing yourself for Bush ... why not surrender to the truth (of Islam), escape from the unbelieving army and join the winning side. Time is running out so make the right choice before it's too late," he said.
(that last sentence almost sounds like a Ford commercial, one of their end of the model year, Labor Day weekend sale-a-thons!...Yep, you can tell this geek was raised stateside.)
"You know that if you die as an unbeliever in battle against the Muslims you're going straight to Hell without passing 'Go,"' Gadahn said, addressing American soldiers. "You know you're considered by Bush and his bunch of warmongers as nothing more than expendible cannon fodder ... You know they couldn't care less about your safety and well-being."
(first off, does he honestly think our guys actually believe that bit about going to hell for killing a muslim?! Don't make us laugh, A.V. Boy! Cute lil' Monopoly reference, there...bet you haven't played that in ages. And secondly, has he been cribbing notes from Shehag?)
"It is time for the unbelievers to discard these incoherent and illogical beliefs," he said.

"Isn't it the time for the Christians, Jews, Buddhists and atheists to cast off the cloak of the spiritual darkness which enshrouds them and emerge into the light of Islam?"
(It's the same kind of light that draws bugs to a Bugzapper, I'm thinking. With the same results.)
OK, so we got the invite, which in current pop culture means that they are giving us a chance before they do something totally asswipey and horrible. Convert or die, in a nutshell. Naturally, we're not gonna be proactive. Don't think we could. Wish we could and back in the good old pre P/C days we might have. But now it would be wrong, so we'll just lay here like a fat hound with our fuzzy underbelly laid out. And wait for the scimitar of Islam to strike...AGAIN!

How do like this, folks?- This will be our future iffen we don't grow a pair!

That's a great picture of the statue of Liberty, serves as a great warning about the potential consequences of tolerating Islamic crap, on a symbolic level. In reality, they would probably consider it a pagan idol and destroy it like they did the ancient Bhuddhist statues in Afghanistan.

So covered or not, it'd be scrap metal at their hands. As much as it would break my heart, the physical destruction of lady liberty might be what it takes to wake up folks...but by then it might be too late. Good Grief, look what happened 5 years ago this month, even that wasn't enough for folks to come to.

I appreciate being 'rolled. We have our differences on belief, but this fight transcends those piddly diffs. It truly is becoming an 'Us vs. Them' situation.

I think you are right that it is supposed to be the harbinger of an attack. Thank God and Homeland Security, we are wiretapping and otherwise infringing on these losers well enough, so far, that they have not pulled anything off.
It's a story we need to begin gearing up to tell as the elections approach, as unpalatable as that may sound.
